Voice Over Skills 1 & 2
VOICE OVER SKILLS 1 is tailored for actors interested in identifying and growing their specific skills to begin and maintain a successful voice over career. The class is designed for both new and seasoned VO professionals. Pete’s personal approach focuses on three basic tools to help establish students within the competitive voice over industry: mic technique, auditioning methods and how to deliver the read to attract an agent and ensure bookings. In four, two-hour classes all participants will gain the “mic time” needed to develop personal style and skills. Final class is team taught with VO casting director, including mock audition and Q&A.

VOICE OVER SKILLS 2 goes further into the VO field, as we work on commercial “partner” reads, promos and documentaries. All three demand a different approach from the straight-ahead, single-person commercial read, and this class will introduce you to these separate, VERY lucrative sides of the business. We’ll be reading from a huge library of actual documentary scripts, along with Promo and commercial copy. There are four two-hour classes, and the final class is team taught with a VO casting director/agent, including a mock audition and Q&A.
